After juicing up at The Phil, we decided to check out one last pub. Olga mentioned a place where she and her choir hang out at after practices (Chris is the choirmaster). Not wanting to miss yet another chance to sample good ale, I said "Let's go!"

Peter Kavanagh's is a nice little neighborhood pub in a residential area. It wasn't crowded, but it was lively. Once inside, we found an empty no-smoking snug behind the bar. Chris knew the barkeeper and the pints of Abbot's soon began to flow. How many pints? Well let's just say beervana was achieved.

As daylight faded, so did our sobriety. We stumbled into a cab and headed back to Chris and Olga's. My last night on Merseyside was brilliant! I flew back to New York the next morning, convinced that Liverpool is a great drinkin' town. Can't wait to go back!
